my number 8 looks good, my number 2 kept fowling up.
a week ago i did a pcm reset and have only used supreme fuel and since than i havent had a problem.
before i did the reset, 5 or 6 times a day it would go into misfiring spells while driving and would idle as low as 200rpm
not 100% yet, but im leaning towards the computer is bad because of the other symptoms im having too which could have something to do with the readings of the tps.
On monday im going to see if i can pick up anther computer and try it, i will let you know what happens.
just did a few calculations and it would appear i have no 4th. on the highway it runs 2000rpm at 60, which is what its supposed to do in third. its weird tho because if i shift it from 2nd to drive, there is clear shift into third than another shift
ive been planning on doing the plenum gasket for long time, a lot of people are surprised that its made it to 300k with pretty much no issues with the rough life its had being driven by workers that dont give a shit
my 99 ram 2500 with a 5.9 magnum usually never goes above half on the oil pressure guage, and has never burned a drop of oil. lately when i start it for the first time of the day and whenever its been shut off for more than 4 hours the oil pressure is almost all the way up on the guage than...
nope. already checked that. i hooked up another reader and got the exact same numbers again. im gonna find another 2nd gen ram and scan it to see what it says.
since the new tps my fuel milage has gone up an incredible amount.
i have a 99 ram 2500 and had a live data reader hooked up and noticed when the throttle is closed is says my throttle position is 13%, and when i hold the pedal to the floor it only says 74.9%. so i made sure the throttle blades were closing and opening all the way which they were. i then...
i went and bought a pair of seat bottoms at the junk yard my dad works at fairly cheap, but ran out of time today while taking them out. ill find out monday or tuesday if they work. they look the same.
same thing happened to me, kept blowing fuses and everytime i replaced them it blew right away, when i put the last fuse in my window/lock switch started smoking. replaced the passenger side switch and the problem was solved
i would but its winter, i doubt the carpet would come clean, it was used as mowing/landscaping truck for 3 years by people who didnt give a ****. it was alot worse when i got it. i plan on putting rubber floors in in the spring
it was pretty easy once you get the cupholder all apart, i used a butter knife to get it all apart. im gonna pull it apart soon to paint it, ill take a few pics of how i did it.
ever since i got my truck the cupholder was broken and the spring loaded arm that holds it up wouldnt stay in place. I finally got tired of looking at the hack job the previous owner did with gorilla tape and fixed it.
Decided to snap a few pics while working in of the warehouses i do maintenance in. If i had of known my truck was gonna be inside all day i would have washed all the salt haze off for some better pics. Camera was piece of crap.
