Pop when accelerating from a stop
my 03 1500 2wd w 276k has the same pop, new upper and lower ball joints, bushings, outer tie rods, sway bar links and calipers w brackets. and still pops. I have checked my drive shaft just in case the sound location was traveling or tricking me. but it still pops and I think it got worse when...- kirbster

I'm done with this cooling system..
maybe the radiator is half doing it's job and the fan is making up for it's inability- kirbster

can't hold rpm's between 10 & 20, why, is this normal
I first noticed this when warming up my truck in 3 degree weather; was trying to hold at 1500 rpm's . but now that it is warmer, same thing , my idle is 7 / 800 and if I try to hold just a little above, it runs up to 2000 which may not be a problem in ordinary situations, but in slick...- kirbster

mpg monitoring system
does anyone know how often the system checks the mpg, seems like mine doesn't change from 13.1 if i drive easy or i nail the peddle to the floor- kirbster
