The AEV bumper is a nice piece and I definitely want one. They sure are proud of it though. I think it starts at $2,200 and properly configured for the PW with options it's around $2,500. On the wish list it goes!- PWR-WAGN

Sweet! Competition and another option along with the K&N will be nice... Stampederfan... that's a nice looking truck you have there in your Avatar. I dig the looks of the Outdoorsman. I'm still debating whether or not to fully convert my PW to the same two-tone look.- PWR-WAGN

I'm not going to counter everything you've said here, because I actually agree that some of the features you've mentioned would be nice additions to the PW setup (better lighting, around view montior, vehicle dynamic display, etc.). Congrats... the sound is nice, huh? I removed my resonator about 90% for aesthetics and 10% for sound. If you can live with the look, then I don't see a downside for keeping it. Seriously though, the OEM resonator had to be a design afterthought... that thing is hideous! :puke:- PWR-WAGN

The max capacity of a PW was tested by TFL Truck up the Ike and it performed flawlessly. Granted that was roughly 10K lbs in tow with 1400 lb payload. If we are going to split hairs and discuss which 2500 gasser model RAM is overrated (literally), it would be the regular 2500 not the PW. The...- PWR-WAGN

I read this a lot in other forums and blogs too. However, I'm not sure a lot of folks know why FCA is going this route with RAM. They already made RAM a stand alone brand and I think ditching the traditional Dodge cross-hair grill is the next step. I kinda like the new grill as it has a ram...- PWR-WAGN

That's a good price for install! If you live where it snows and the roads are salted in winter, I'd recommend making sure your shop uses stainless pipe for the extension and the correct fill for the welds to prevent premature corrosion.- PWR-WAGN

I second this! The PW's ratings are arbitrary BS that RAM had to compromise on for legality's sake. I don't think it's ideal for fifth wheel towing (height and rear springs), but it will handle anything else another 2500 gasser can. I'm not saying the PW is the best option for everyone...- PWR-WAGN

BoldAdventure and I both have a 22" Magnaflow dumped where the resonator used to be (check out dedicated 6.4 exhaust thread). I believe his is the 3" diameter while I went with the 3.5", part #12909. Both are center/offset and will work; however, it's not a direct replacement for the OE...- PWR-WAGN

That's a valid question. I kept the filler pieces black to match the flares. I like the two tone wrap around effect. I know on the the monochrome Outdoorsman and Laramie trims, the filler panels are color-matched along with the flares. That's the only way I think they look good with body...- PWR-WAGN
