    Bigger tires, bigger gears?

    It depends on the gears you have now, but you will deffiently see a change in your mileage. If it's a 1500 chances of it have a lower gear to axel ratio is increased therefore possibly causing strain on your transmission.

    Have you checked the injectors and fuel pump? Possibly not the issue but it seems like it could be one of the two.
