I currently have a 2008 Ram 3500 6.7L 4x4 DRW and the transmission is frequently slipping gears. It's getting close to going out. I have done some reasearch and can't get a clear answer to my question, that being, would swapping out the Automatic trans with a Manuel be close in price or ridiculously more expensive? I frequently am hauling upwards af 22,000 GRW and I know it would benefit to have a 6 - speed.
