Been using chemical guys trim gel on a soaked microfiber towel and just wiping it on if I can let the truck sit over night. Leave the towel in a zip lock when done and just reuse it since it's saturated with product.
Or if I'm about to head out I have been using the vrp dressing diluted with...
I tried Adams products before but found them to be very expensive paying almost 27 bucks a bottle for the vrt dressing here in Hawaii was insane. Chemical guys and smart wax have the same dressing for $10. But it all comes down to personal preference I have multiple products for different task...
That's about the normal price for a truck. You could also pick up a nice buffer and coat your truck your self for less than half of that. YouTube can teach you a lot about using a DA buffer. Then you'll have them for future use if detailing is something you enjoy.
I had a torq foam cannon and a chemical guys foam blaster when they broke I ordered the cheap Amazon versions and they work just as good. Won't feel bad if and when they break again.
so got sick of the center console not matching the ac trims in the truck and vinyl wrapped them with 3m matte gray which matched the stock color perfectly first time trying to wrap anything so there are a few small mess ups.
also been slowly working on a box was going to use my 2...
I normally use a foam cannon but when I'm lazy Ill just use the foam gun on my waterhose. Got mine from Amazon for really cheap since shipping to Hawaii is brutal from chemical guys.
Best thing I did to my black Chrysler 300 was coat it. If you can do it your self or with a buddy youll save a ton of money. Way easier to take care of when I did it and less chances of minor scratches from wiping it down almost every day. Black is such a beautiful color when taken care of...
You could also look into a sundown sd3 sub they are shallow mount. I have two sundown sd3 12 s waiting to go into my truck. They sounded good when i had them in sealed boxes in my Chrysler 300
mine had some pretty bbad water spots on them that didn't come off with normal washing. i used chemical guys heavy metal polish on a microfiber towel and very light buffing by hand... cleaned them up really nice. then topped it with a sealant.
Subd..... Looks like it's going to be sick! I'll slowly start building a box for under the rear seats of my CC... Like you free time is hard to come by! Lol
just in case anyone else has a center console with an intact harness. what i did was remove the plugs under the drivers seat and pull them up under the slider next to the console. then you just have to cut the tape holding the harness on the center console and run the wires accordingly...
I...
wet okole seat covers are what almost all the truck guys use out here in Hawaii. not sure if they are like every other neoprene seat cover on the market. they are nice but also come with a hefty price tag. Plan on ordering me a set in the near future.
so i got a spintech muffler installed the other day and boy does it sound good!!!!
this evening i started on a little project for the front end in preparation for a light bar. I removed the dealer license plate mount and began working on plugs for the 4 holes.
picked this up at the local...
Didn't try and move around the gauges yet. I am running the factory setup. Going to be adding in my 2 sundown sd3 12" subs and saz1000 watt amp in the near future. Debating on building a box or buying one. I have a lot of fiberglass cloth left over from a build in the 300s I had so just need...
