Replacing Battery
While changing out the dead one for new one. I noticed what appears to be a pressure sensor on the battery tray under the battery itself. With two wires running to it. Why does Dodge sense that there is a battery in the truck? Thank You Mark- Mark C.

Trouble shooting 02 power seat
Trouble shooting R/S power seat on my 02 2500 Quad Cab. It's a 6 way power heated seat with lumbar support. Only the rear up/down doesn't work. All other buttons work. I removed and cleaned the switch internally. Used contact cleaner and a small file. Reinstalled the switch and the rear... -

Coating spark plug heat shields.
Can the spark plug heat shields be pressed back in after removal. Was thinking of Ceramic coating them with a High temp coating. Just a thought, not putting much into it. Your thoughts? Mark- Mark C.

First Dodge Pick up
8.31.16 Recently retired. I've been hot rodding cars since the mid 70's. Pontiac man my whole life. Got it from my Dad. Made a living wrenching for 5 years. Built VW's in Pa for 10 years.
