Correct. Have you priced a 430N yet? Still think you're better off with aftermarket, especially if you don't plan on not getting the Uconnect. The OEM radio is fine with all the bells and whistles working, but if you cripple it by not adding Uconnect and backup cam then it is an overly expensive...- Miami Son

You need a 430 with high-speed bus. 430N if you want Nav. You will also need a separate Uconnect module and for backup cam you need the cam kit and to have the dealer program it. This will be a very expensive mod and you might be better off going aftermarket.- Miami Son

Yeah, I was a little disappointed in mine compared to the one in my 2nd gen 2500. I like that I no longer have to look up to see the computer stuff, but I miss the eyeglass holder I had before. -

I've seen the OEM cam and harness selling on eBay for less, but you still have to pay the dealer for flashing it to work even if you install it yourself. That's why I went with the Lockpick. My bro-in-law just got a set of the DeeZee bars and they only have 2 mountings per side, also. Mine are pretty hefty and rated for 600 pounds. Don't see any heiffers getting into my truck, so they should be fine.:roflsquared: -

If short hop driving is what you do, forget the diesel. If you don't need to tow a lot then forget the diesel. Just my opinion, but 28 per side seems like overkill to me. I just wanted some accent lighting, not a supplemental light source. At hood height I could see those being a real annoyance to a driver in front of you. Looks cool, though. -

By the way, if you are thinking of getting another set of inserts to do this with or in case you mess up, I went to the Dodge dealer to see how much they would be. They want $137 for the right side and $129 for the left side. Pretty crazy if you ask me. -
