correct used Transmission ?
I own a 96 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9 v8 and the transmission died . I cannot afford a 2000.00 rebuild so I found a low millage one for sale out of a 99 4x4 also with a 5.9 v8 are these transmissions the same? 46re? any changes for those years or direct bolt up? Thanks for the help- badluck

46re trouble HELP!!!!
I have a 1996 ram 4x4 5.9l with 196k Recently the transmission went out of gear and will no longer shift and throws code p1759 for the Governor solenoid. I went ahead and changed both the pressure and Governor Solenoids (BORG WARNER), replaced fresh 6Q of ATF+4 and same issue same code. Also...- badluck
