That did cross my mind, however with a 6in lift, rims, tires, after market bumpers, amp power boards, 4.56 gears, a whole bunch more stuff, I plan on driving this truck another 5 years
I found a heavy ass piece of metal and laid it on the brake, along with the parking brake and 4wd lock.
And it still turns when I'm trying to loosen the wheel spacer.
So that means someone torque it down way to much and that my brake need to be changed
I like my vararam, it's definitely a head turner when the hood is open but if I had to do it again. I would buy a S&B CAI just because of snow and heavy rain we get here.
Well lucky I have tomorrow off. Forgot about that. So going to Lowes and buying a grinder. Or maybe since I'm onlying using it one time. Harbor freight
I am going to have to remove the wheel studs to cut them?
I watched a guy on youtube cut his wheel spacer studs off from the end and then grinded it down to round it back out.
I think I would prefer to do it that way and leave the studs on, but I wouldn't know how to hold the wheel to keep it...
How much do you think needs to be taken off?
I would rather buy a power saw and do it myself but I don't think I'll have day light time any this week.
Damn day light savings
The spacer seemed fine, still tight up against the brake with the original lugs flushed inside it.
I didn't take a photo but it was obvious the bolts were touching the rim, and that's how it got worst because the bolts aren't back in the holes they created.
But it didn't feel any vibrations...
I have been running bora wheel spacers problem free for the last 9 months and I recently got my tires rotated by discount tire and now the truck is vibrating up front.
It felt like the left driver tire so I took it off and noticed the wheel spacers bolts are digging into the rim.
So how do...
As much as I don't like to admit it, I have had several "Oh Sh*t" moments where my head has banged hard against the headliner. The foam material cushen the hit a lot, can't imagine if it was just bedliner. Ouch lol
The 35 might be really tight under there, you might can try taking off one of your tires to test fit it before you go out and buy a spare. And deflate the tire to see if that helps any.
I have a spare 35inch tire for my truck and I toss it in the bed whenever I'm going to go off-road or on a...
