Insanitize has a good point. The main problem I had with my 12 K. Is that 100 feet of cable that came with it is far too much. Unless it is pulled 100% perfect ( which never happens in real life use) it hits and rubs on everything. Easy solution, cut 15 feet off or my harbor freight sells... -

I'm sure everyone is different but I had mine for 3yrs now with at least 3 doz pulls. From people stuck in snow to a f-350 buried to its axles in sand at the beach. A few weeks ago I hooked up to my friends 2012 2500 cummins and it pulled my 1500 with its tires locked on dry pavement. I love mine! -

People who upgraded to the ra3. from what I understand you had to get the antitheft code from the dealer. Is that correct? Next question. Has anyone tried to get the dealer upgrade to navigation after swapping it in? My wife has an 8.4" non nav that the dealer upgraded to navigation with... -

Need your opinions on a 2" lift after winch weighed down front!
Hi everyone, I recently added a winch and mount to the front of my truck and before and after measurements are that I lost almost 1". I planned on only doing a 1.5 or so but now I'm thinking of a full 2" to get me a touch over 1" over stock. I have the 3.92s and would love to keep stock size... -

Added factory trailer brake control on my 2014 express!
Finally went to the dealer to get flashed.... Went perfect! There is a whole menu for trailer brake with two sub menus, one is a odometer that only rolls when a trailer is hooked up and the other showes a graphic of a tailer with gain.- Liv2race

Frame mount As you can see, it's a strait shot out the front bumper where the winch plate sits then mounted under that is a bracket on roughly on a 45* from there the tow hooks go and tie into the main bracket. -

Yeah, hooked up everything. The kit comes with a bracket, computer unit, screws, and the buttons. There are two plugs taped up and out of the way under the dash that plugs into the computer and behind the traction control/tow haul buttons is the plug for the trailer control buttons. New winch mount installed!
I can take pics of that tomorrow. The brush guard has nothing to do with the winch mount. Basicly it bolts to the factory tow hook locations (actually more) and come out passed the bumper that the winch plate sits on top of and is bolted down. The brush guard is then bolted to that. As I said...
