I just looked at the Ram website to see if the 2025's are available to order (I don't want one. Just bored). You can't yet. So I looked at building a 2024 1500. Backcountry isn't an option. I have a 2022. Does anyone know how many were actually produced? I live in Metro Atlanta and have...
All I've done is swap most all the lights to LED. I love this thing. I've had mine since March 2022. I have only seen one other BackCountry in the Atlanta area.
I've got a 2022 Backcountry also and absolutely love the ride it gives me. I find it interesting you don't like it. You certainly don't see many of them.
I like certain things about it. I like the retro badges and sort of like the Ram. It needs to be a retro Ram if it's going to be done right in my opinion.
Not sure about the flannel. Does it come with Lithium already pre set on the radio?
I have a 2022 Backcountry package that I ordered in Sept 2021. I've only seen one other one here in metro Atlanta. I was just looking at the Ram website and it looks like that package isn't available any longer. I am curious did anyone else happen to get one of these packages? I love it and...
I have a 2022 Bighorn. I have two little dome lights above where your feet go. They just twist off with a little effort.
Map lights I had to pull the assembly down from the ceiling. A bit tricky. There are youtube vids that will show you what to do. The rear globe just take a small...
Update: I installed the JBL dash speakers today and they sound great. They do overpower the front door speakers. They also need the adapters. I adjusted the equalizer some to try to help the door speakers. Adjust to taste if you swap all the speakers out.
It's amazing and sad a 55K truck...
Yes I got little adapters when I ordered the speakers from Crutchfield. I believe it's a free add on. It was part of the speaker package from them.
I selected the Polk's because that's what I have for my home surround sound and they are really nice speakers...
I just installed 4 Polk Audio 6x9's in the doors today in my 2022 Bighorn with the six speaker stock setup. Major difference. I have some Xfinity dash speakers ordered. Got everything through the Crutchfield site.
Hardest part was putting the door panels back on by myself. Even my wife who...
Yes I ordered mine on Sept 23. It was built in Nov and shipped to Hapeville, GA where it sat from Nov 29th to last week. The dealer told me it was probably a chip issue. Funny thing is I work about 1.5 miles from the rail yard it sat at.
Good luck with yours. It's a nice package. I need...
If you guys remember I ordered a Backcountry in Sept 2021 that sat in a rail head for months. In fact I ordered another one. Well order #1 came in finally! What a nice truck. Not the best picture but here is my new ride and part of my back yard.
I ordered one in Oct. They built it and shipped to a train parking zone on Nov 29. It's still there and is going back to the factory for some reason. So I ordered another one on 1/13. It's in D status as we speak. BackCountry package.
Yeah could be. The dealer said maybe since it's a new package maybe they left something off. Who knows. It's sat in Hapeville for 5 weeks. Time to move on.
Update. Ram recalled my truck from the train parking lot and is sending it back to the factory. The dealer did not know why. So I punted on that truck and reordered another Backcountry edition. Wish me luck
I have a 2022 BigHorn Backcountry sitting at the rail station in Hapeville, Ga since 11/29. I pinged the dealer Monday. They called me back and said it's in a 'hold' status. No idea what that means. It was a order from 10/23 and built 11/19.
I went to my local Ram dealer after reading about the new Backcountry package to see about ordering one. The sales guy hadn't heard of that package so he checked with the ordering guy to see if any were ordered by the dealer. Sure enough they had several. I put my name on one and it actually...
