Looking to replace damaged lower ground effects on a 2004 Ram 1500 with the Rumble Bee package. Truck is currently in the body shop for a minor rear end collision. All of the original rear skirt pieces below the bumper was damaged. Dealer no longer shows any of these parts available. Also hoping...
I just got off the phone with CCC. The recall ONLY applies to model-year 2005 trucks, even though the recall states that it is for trucks built beginning in January 2004. He also said that this may be amended to include m-y2004.
Also, even though the letters are going out, they do not yet have...
1500 only.

Check the sticker, as mentioned above, or call either a dealer service desk or Chrysler Customer Care with the last 8 digits of your VIN. They can give you your build date based on that.
Safety recall for Ram Trucks announced December 19, 2014. Goes into effect February 13, 2015. Catastrophic rear axle failures due to pinion gear bolt backing off.
For third generation trucks built from January 2004 to August 2005.
This exact failure just happened to my latest Ram. Talked...
Thanks! The headlights in it now are a second set that I picked up while I convert the originals to xenon/HID. I also have a few other ideas for them while they are apart..
Some progress.. Had to order a new d/s mounting bracket to get the bumper to line up. Still missing a few parts, but at least it lines up now. Also swapped on '10 wheels and big Goodyears.
Here is how it sounds now. Still has a little of the 'blaaat' going on off-throttle. Having a cat in place will mellow that out. HUGE difference in noise level inside the cab with this setup.

It is gone now. Replaced with a 3" in/out DynoMax Super Turbo into a single 3" stainless Magnaflow tailpipe. I confirmed during the muffler swap that the cat is gutted. Will post another clip with the new setup and again after a new cat is in place (if I do put one on it).
Bought an '03 SLT QC a few weeks ago. It is a little rough around the edges, but the price was right (translated CHEAP!). I had picked up a Sport bumper cover and reinforcement bar for my last tuck (horror story) that I kept and installed this weekend. I still have to order a few more parts to...
In case you ever wondered what it might sound like... I took a short video clip of my truck for before/after comparisons. It is a '03 with the 4.7 motor. The previous owner had the stock muffler replaced with a 10 Series Flowmaster, an elbow and split tips out the passenger side. I ordered a 3"...
I've been trying to find a replacement (right side) panel for my rear slider. The only replacement offered through Mopar that I have been able to find is the center (sliding) panel. Other than that, it is get lucky finding a individual panel from a wreck or replace the whole thing.
I like the little bit of polished lip you left on the wheels - helps break it up.
Totally stealing your idea for the DODGE lettering across the tailgate and your headlight treatment for my truck.. :leghump:
Seems like a lot of work. There are simpler solutions out there if you don't want to DIY - and if you don't mind spending a few bucks.
I found these on eBay:

Just swap this piece in in place of your...
I prefer to use 1/4" drive stuff for smaller jobs, but 3/8 will fit with no problem.
I just pulled one of mine and took some pics:
