Yeah , I getcha, the speedo is at 60 at 8 sec, with 2 full sec of spin, hmmmmm sorry bra, ryans right, ya got a 9 sec truck........ but if ya move that truck with some stick'um, I still say your in the ballpark. Question is , How fast do you wanna go? I 'm done with speed, at least with the truck, I know if I get 2-3 feet of snow, I can still pretty much get thru it. If I get my 'stang tomarrow, I'm shooting for 12 sec quarters and 6 sec 0-60's But thats another forum I guess.

My 06 QCSB runs 0-60 in about 5.2 sec in street trim @ 5,500 lbs if I can keep it from spinning.

I think rockets a little confused on who he's talking about. Lol. Bighorn has the 37s. Blackout has 22s with a lower profile tire. And an R/T. I agree with the high 6-7s.

3.92 has been a good gear in 4lo for the sand. 4.56 for the street would be a good setup and a 2800-3k verter but truck tows also.

I towed ~7,000 lbs behind my 06, with the APS 2,800 and 4.56 gears, using the 1-ton cooler and tow/haul mode, the transmission temps didn't even rise above normal.

What mods ? Thats a great time . It must be modded . Cam ?

06 4.7 Ram, swapped to a Sidewinder cammed 5.7, long tube headers w/torque tubes, SCT/Superchips stack, E-fan, short-belt, 170*F thermostat, APS 2,800 that has been restalled (flashes 3,400), 4.56 gears, P305/50/R20s. Went 8.527 @ 79.10 on a 1.91s 60' on a well preaped 1/8 mile track. Went 13.592 @ 98.20 on a 1.98s 60', on a poorly prep'd 1/4 mile track.

Rocket is a little confused about the times between your truck and Bighorn's, if you dont spin you'll shave some time off.

I am 5,330 without driver on the 305/50/R20s, that is minus the spare, tailgate, and back seat. Full weight I am over 5,750 with driver (me 260 lbs) and all my junk in the truck. Almost always have 80+ lbs of tools under the back seat and a heavy marine grade hardwired 3,000 watt power inverter under the drivers seat.

This was with the stock low stall JUNK 5.7 torque converter in 105*F weather last summer, in full street trim. Probably even had the a/c on at the time.

that one looked closer to 6.5sec. Was that fully loaded or everything stripped down?

Fully loaded, over 1/2 tank of fuel, stock torque converter, a/c on, full length belt, 105*F sunny, hot, summer Texas afternoon. So basically the worst possible combination and still ~6 sec 0-60. It went 9.20s @ 77 in 98*F weather, horrible 3,500+ DA in street trim.

Just goes to show how much cooler weather + APS converter + track mods + weight reduction does to help my truck get down the road.
