Yeah me too! Suppose to be nice air in 50's in the evening. Should be a good turn out and some good racing. Since weathers finally here.

Went 13.434@ 100.7 and 8.5@ 80 in 1/8th

Vid
Dodge Ram vs WRX - YouTube

I punched in my 0-60 on Wallace racing 0-60 calculator and it was almost dead nuts for 1/8 mile 4.7 sec = 8.5 1/8th.

I think it's more of a 1/8 mile truck. It kind of fizzles out up top. You can see in the time slip I had the WRX till 1000ft then he swooped me up. I thought I won till I got home and looked . He got me by .0014 of a sec.

There's more I could do to go faster but for now I'm happy . The stroker is fun on the street it's like my 06 cummins was on the Scary Larry tune but revving to 6200. Torquey!!!

We all tend to weeder off righ after the 1/8th if you are NA . That's just the nature of these trucks with the weight, aerodynamics and trans gearing. A lot of these trucks 1/8 really good . 8.5 is good for a 13.4-13.5 on these trucks where a 8.5 in a most sports car puts you down around a 13.0-13.2. Great pass man and keep it up. That's a lot of the reason I like to run 1/8 myself

if you get it down to 8.2x's, the result is a 12.xx timeslip..

Thanks! I know , after 80 mph this thing is brick. I did Lexan the front grill and taped up fog light holes. Not sure if it made much of a difference in aerodynamics. But every bit helps. I know this from experience.

I'm not bracket racing so your right ET was quicker.

I'm hoping to shave some tenths off next time. I forgot to reset the computer at the track, so truck was idling weird and stalling out . It started doing this after I short belted and put my head light intake on.

I have been playing with tuning a little and noticed I get no Knock when I run it at the leaner end of the spectrum. It seems to like 12.8-13.2 afr range. No detonation. But at 12.2-4 arf I get 6*KR

Weird but I get rich detonation. It was even worse till I scaled down the 40 LB injectors. I was getting 8 or more. I think since this was a boosted motor piston to wall clearance is loose, so I'm getting false knock from piston slap. But the leaner afr is putting more heat and load in the cylinder and creating more expansion.

I'm going back on the 6th.

Yeah 410ci with superchips psc1, LT, bfi, ported tb, efan, under-drive pulley,4.56's and stock converter.
Heads for now are my old stock heads w/ valve job, welded and milled .030" and i hand ported slightly (clean up). I have a set of cnc heads in OC CA. That will go on eventually along with HP tuning if it's stacks with SC . I can't live without the tranny tune. The Sc and psc1 really isn't too bad. I kinda like tinkering with it. I'd like to get it on the dyno though.

I did talk to Dave Whitelightning he said the diablo stacks with SC so that might be an option. Hp tuning and dyno is free. So that will be my first route. Just have to drive out there.

I pulled this one the other morning. I wasn't sure I was going to post it because I got a bad hesitant launch. Just so happened right as I hit the gas to get onto the highway a car popped up. I figure a 1/2 second hesitation is = to a 1/2 second better time.

I think I can get it much closer to 7 with a better launch.

So I have been datalogging lately in the heat. Since last year I finally have a good set of heads, better tuning ( still superchips/psc1 with a year of tinkering with the tune, afr 13.2-5 @WOT, it loves it lean) and a new exhaust. A single w/ 3" madrels from collectors out to 4"y and 4"x14 magnaflow. So I'm pulling the same 0-60 times as last year. But in the heat, 108* 5000 da instead of 60* 900 da. What it's worth in the 1/4 not sure? But can't wait to find out once it cools down.

Here's what I'm working with weather wise. I'm really hoping for some neg da this year! Would really like to run sub 13's. Fingers crossed!

Since I can't seem to update my build thread on DT. I might as well let people know here. I have almost 20,000 on this stroker. I pulled the heads at 13000. Looked great in there. The 4" bore has proved to be totally reliable as a daily driver. No overheating and I run it hard in the heat. Matter fact i plan on going bigger bore next time and offset grinding for more stroke. Maybe 4.020-4.040" bore and maybe 0.220" more stroke offset grinded to the small 1.771" honda journal.
