04 Ram 1500 Fuel Pump

Hey guys, new to the forums, well as a posting member anyways as opposed to just finding info. I've searched around a bit but couldnt find the answer, so here's my question.. i have a 04 Ram 1500 5.7L. My fuel Level Sensor is F'ed, but i have an 03 parts truck, fuel pumps have different parts numbers and in pictures i can see some visual differences but was wondering if they are compatible.. would save me like $ 350. Lol. Thanks in advance

I’m gonna say no. Go to rock auto (use the 5% of code on this site in the vendor area) you can get a pump for less then 350$

I normally use rock auto, mopar fuel pump is like $ 315 Cdn, plus shipping. I've also read about alot of the non oem pumps having issues otherwise i would've just ordered one. Figured it was worth looking into seeing as i had the other truck. Thanks.

03 pump is different, plus puts out 10 less psi (48 vs 58); you'll want the right one.
