07 Ram 1500 Hitch? or no hitch?

I have a question for y'all that have an 07 Ram. Is this a hitch? what's behind the tire in the picture. I'm not sure if it is or not. Is it just missing the receiver under it or am I completely wrong?

I'd have to look at mine again, but I'm pretty sure the drop hitch is welded onto the bottom of that tube.

Yea mine looks like that but you're missing the part where the receiver goes in. Mine is welded to that part.

That's a base plate but the rest of the receiver is not there. I suspect it may be the base plate for the bumper hitch only.

Yeah, if you go to walmart, they sell a receiver that will bolt to that for about $35, made by Reese. I would assume you could have it welded on too for extra safety since it comes with sketchy lookin bolts lol. But anywho, that's just the bumper support
