08 1500 5.7 small roaring sound.

Thanks in advance. I have a small roaring noise when my truck is rolling and when it's at cruising speed and sets into overdrive you hear it, then you push the gas and it goes away then it comes back when you settle down to cruising speed into overdrive.
The truck does it less when in tow haul or overdrive off setting.but it still happens.
Does anybody know what this noise could be .Thanks again Gil

Any idea what area of the truck the noise is coming from? Does it happen at a certain RPM or a certain speed, or both?
