09 dashboard removal

hi,

does anyone of you if it its possible to remove the upper pasrt of the dashboard . tan part in the followong pic: http://images.thecarconnection.com/...-quad-cab-140-5-slt-dashboard_100257713_l.jpg

i would like to take ist out to get it covered with leather. or do i have to remove the complet front?

From the FSM - it looks like pretty much everything must come off before the top cover...

I can't upload the instructions (file too big), sorry.
