Yes I recommend using a Superchip 3815 which is the out of date model and can be found for around $140 used. It's all you need as there is no trans tuning for the 03. The newer model SC3865 also can be found used for around $180-$200, but is more tuner than you need. I do not recommend using a Diablo tuner on a 03 as they are known to corrupt the PCM/ABS, Plus the Superchip allows you to adjust the speed and RPM limiters. Diablo doesn't.

Mine I have yet to take to the track, but with my mods list my programmer timer is saying mid to high 14's. It will 60 in 6 secs consistently though. Keep in mind these are heavy trucks, not race cars.

Hey its an 03 gathering, like it! I got me a shake at 140 and up (oops kph that is) so my point is if you mod you can expect some parts will eventually wear out. I need to replace the left rear backing plate thats twisted and causing the caliper to move on heavy braking which also twists up the rear shoes inside the rotor. From there i can determine wether or not i have wore out my front Mopar 1/2 shafts after 3 years as i do frequent with a 4 hi launch or so right up to and past those speeds, more like a vibration across the front when i get on it. As for 1/4 mile time personnally don't care as my LX Hemi is more for that stuff, i am interested in the old 0-60 stuff and am in around where Hemilonestar is.

I recommend Long tubes because the 03 is different than the newer models with only one cat. Now don't take this wrong as that one cat is IMO the best flowing cat out there. The only thing better would be two of them. The long tubes and off road Y with two cats makes a good setup. Real Estate under a RCSB is limited. So I used a single straight through Magnaflow with pipes out the rear. There is a lot of exhaust systems shown on the forum and it's too much to repeat here.

Same here, funny how my 06 Charger R/T is pretty much bone stock and yet that much faster (gotta love power to weight ratio).

I'm pretty much at full bolt ons. I ran 15.06@88. That's LT header, hiflo cats, cutout, 85mm TB, CAI, e-fan, 180* tstat, and Diablo tuner. I have a 2800 converter and 20% UD pulley goin in this weekend. Should be a 14 sec truck now. :D It takes a lot to move 6000lbs

The basic performance mods list for a 03 is:
Gauges
TMR mod
CAI
Throttle body (87mm)
180 stat
eFan
Transmission Line Pressure booster
Valve Body
Headers
Exhaust
Cam/springs
Torque converter (2600>)
Gears/Differential (4:10/4:56)
Traction bars

The list goes on and maybe some others will add to it. But this will get you well into the 13's.
