Quick update, we stepped up to a #8 feed line and 1650cc injectors as the 1050cc were about maxed out. After a retune, it put down 1088hp. Cant wait to make a few passes in it this Friday/Saturday. Fingers crossed, nothing breaks.

Time to change the thread title! Also, did I miss the reason why you're running E85 and not race gas or, at least, corn-free fuel? You've probably forgotten more about racing than I'll ever know, so I'm sure you have your reasons.

Cheap fuel that makes lots of power and is probably at the pump's in Texas.

It's basically 105 octane for less than $2.50 a gallon depending on where you live of course.

E85 runs cooler, and is a fraction of the cost of race fuel. This truck is not a trailer queen and will be driven to and from the track. Race fuel is over $10/gallon here where E85 is less than $3/gallon.

It's actually at only some pumps down here...oddly enough, the Walmart in Hudson Oaks (near Weatherford or just west of Fort Worth) where I buy my no-corn gas also has an E85 pump. It's quite the picture of fuel diversity!

Made my first pass in the truck today. Went 10.43 @ 136.25mph with a very soft 1.73 60’ time. Full weight and at 2500’ DA

Best part is that I drove it 1.5 hours to the track and another 1.5 hours back home. Success.

Well guys I’m not going to make it this year after all. Sister was rushed to the hospital in critical condition so we are here with her. They think she had a heart attack and she may not make it! Hope to see you all next year.
