12v by shifter not working

So I just bought a 2010 ram 1500 big horn and the 12v plug in by the shifter is not receiving any power. i checked all the fuses and they were good, checked the cigarette lighter itself and boom no power any ideas on what it could be don’t feel like ripping apart **** and tracing wires of i don’t have to.

did you just check the lighter unit and no power go directly to the power point to were it plugs in to the lighter and check and make sure you have a good ground because it could just be a bad lighter unit!

i did check that but i just pulled off the trim to look behind it and turns out it came unplugged. so all is good now thanks anyway
