For some reason their site isn't pulling up the part numbers. So I could just add 2 wires to existing wireharness? Which pins are needed and what wire size?

Do you just crimp on the pin to the wire. Solder it and it locks into place of the wire harness?

That post list a bunch of different sizes for the pins. Is there a link straight to the item I would need?

Thanks

I'm fairly certain the recommended one (18-20awg) will pull up on their site, if not, any of the others will work (just different size wire and tin vs gold finish).

Just need 2 pins, 2 sealing plugs, 18awg wire, a 5/16" ring terminal, 2 sets of 9005 female connectors, and the proper crimp tools, and ideally some 1/4 or 3/8" split loom (15-20ft) and Fir-tree zip ties.

I really should start making these.

When I search the part numbers on their site it doesn't come up with anything? Do you have any of the pins laying around extra?

No I don't. I had planned on adding them to my next order though. ( I forgot on my last one that I just got in this week, so it will be awhile)

Any chance you could send me a link to the pins and the sealing plugs directly?

How many amps are those wires off 23 and 24 rated for? They wire directly to the fogs correct?

Yes. They need to be 18awg.

Okay I put everything together. Still need it programmed to work.

The bumper was off the same year truck with same paint code. Less miles. I think mine might be due for a good cleaning? It's been pretty salty with the roads. Maybe a clay bar and wax would help match a little better?

Any thoughts? Thanks

Since you are running led pods and plan on using the oem for light controls you'll need some sort of resistor/canceling harness for them to work.

Fiat/Chrysler/dodge/ram are very finicky when it comes to replacing lights with anything other than what it came with. With every new year something else gets harder to replace.

Something like this should work.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/111413452220

Each pod is 15.8watt. So 31.6watt per side vs a 9006 bulb at 55watt. Is that low enough of power draw to cause issues? What issues would there be?

If need be could I use a relay. Factory fog wire to relay then ground and use that to power the leds? Would risistors still be needed with using a relay?

I'm not sure if in 2016 the Fogs were included in the CANBUS system. In my 2013 they were not. I used the OEM fog circuit to trigger relays for my pods. No issues.

I tried using pods for fogs on my 2015 and they wouldn't work. I never got around to trying some sort of error cancelation harness. So at least 15+ they added fogs to the canbus system.

Looking to to this exact mod on my 2016 tradesman. I have factory fogs now and have 4 3" led concepts led pods on the way. I really would like to retain oem button so I was thinking wiring the pods tapping into the existing wiring harness for power you think this will work?

So if needed can I just add a simple relay. Would that work? Basically would risistors be needed even to work a relay?

With the 31.8 watts would it hurt anything to have the dealer add the sales code and see what happens?

Worst case they wouldn't work or flicker correct?

Okay so had the dealer do the flash. 30 min drive home no issue yet with the lights. I'm gona hold off doing anything else until I see fit. Currently he fogs are tapped into factory wiring only.

I need to adjust them. They come up pretty high.
