One step ahead of you pal, the 16 inch ones are $800 and the 17 inch ones are 830! When either way. Even though these are H2 wheels, they look kind of like the old ram charger wheels that came on these trucks in the 80s

I don't think they look bad, but you should make sure they will work with those hubs. The Dodge lug pattern is 8x6.5. The Chebby wheels might be some metric pattern.

CHEV wheels work. I checked, the pattern is the same. I think we are going to try one this weekend and see how it looks.

Unfortunately the 2003 hd ram hub caps don't! LoL. I will have to sell those now.

It's not everyday you get to say... I de-cammo'd my truck...lmao
I took the cammo'd tint off the windows and also hot water pressure washed most of the truck. Funny thing...looked like it hadn't been washed in 10 years. Post some pics tomorrow of the improvements

So, just found out that gen1 rams can accept gen2 seats. I just talked with guy who did it 3 times. Says it's really easy. So I'm on the hunt, gen2 club cab seats with seat belts integrated. Tan cloth or leather and I'm gonna put set in back seat too! 60/40 fit best but 40/20/40 work as well.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411326509.026921.jpg

Please give me your input, I am looking to replace the floor covering. The old vinyl literally crumbled and I tore it all out. So I'm getting ready to order new flooring and have a few options. I can reorder the vinyl molded floor but it doesn't come win the jute insulation underlayment mat, so I have to purchase this at an additional cost. The vinyl floor is $200 and the jute is $70. Or I can buy black molded carpet for $200, which comes with the jute already installed. The benefit to the carpet, besides the cost, is it has a polyvinyl back which is water proof, allowing me to essentially wash the carpet with the hose the same way I would a vinyl floor. Also, the entire carpet and jute thickness is 3/4"of an inch to the vinyl and jute 1/2" thick. So, I'm leaning toward the carpet BC it will increase insulative and noise reduction properties. Anyone have any input?

I was looking at putting carpet in mine too. Let me know how that goes. And I found some 3rd gen wheels to go on mine just need to get spacers. They sit really far in.

Couple of issues. First most crew cabs are 25+ square feet. (1) gal might get you done at $90, but most likely need to buy the bigger (2) gal at $180.

Next, I decided to purchase carpet, black cut pile with rubber water proof backing and then jute.

Finally, rustoleum black enamel paint on the floor with ice shield between the carpet (w/jute) and the floor.

If it still rots, then I can't do anymore.

Carpet with waterproof backing was $262 w/ free shipping. Factoryoemparts.com

Dealt with Rick, great guys.

So, update: FINALLY tore the seats out. Scrubbed the floor. painted the rusty spots and decided to buy a can of "Flex Seal" yes, the crap from the infomercial! LOL. It worked great plugging up the pin holes. I think I am going to replace the floor pan in the spring, but I needed to get this rig going for winter use and front pans can wait.

I will post pictures in a bit, but I decided to put the club cab interior in the front for now. Fab work to put in the rear is going to be decent amount. I don't have time for that right now.

Here are some update pics. Interior carpet with rubber membrane backer so it's waterproof. 2000 Club Cab Seats installed which had built-in seat belts to replace the factory broken junk. Factory bench reinstalled in rear...for now.

That looks great. My new carpet is still sitting in the basement and although it came with a 40 mil backing for sound proofing I might still use some extra sound proof adhesive like you have there. I was hoping you were going to post some pics. :waytogo:

Ice Shield, eh? Might have to go look for that. I tried to find the peel n seal stuff at my local Lowes, couldn't find it. Where'd you get the carpet from? Looks great.

And NICE job on the seats. Look like they were meant to go there. How'd you do the mounts?

Dealt with Rick, great guys. I happened to be in St. Louis and I swung by and they showed me the carpet. Yes, there are cheaper carpets out there. These guys purchased original oem stamping. So I trusted my carpet would fit better and I was right.

As for the ice shield, it actually was self adhering flashing. I got the 2 mixed up BC they are both made by grace. I think both would work just fine. But this is what I actually bought.
