Removed and cleaned the throttle body the other day and noticed current cable is fraying. Looking for replacement which is Mopar part # 52078651 shows discontinued at a every source I checked (Rockauto, Summit, Mopar, etc) and will continue looking. Anyone have any thoughts on locating new or is there an viable alternative to modify something similar that someone has successfully attempted?
As for used, I’ll start that search as well but does anyone have any good avenues used? It’s not an imminent failure but heading down that path. In the meantime, I thought I would try to slide the cable out of the sheath to access and perhaps JB Weld the fraying. Thanks
