2001 Dodge 5.9 gas trans swap

I have a 2001 2 wheel drive dodge 5.9 gas truck, pulled the bad transmission, bought a 2004 auto out of a Dakota 5.9 gas,

My old convertor has no weights on it, my flywheel has weights on it,

The Dakota trans, convertor has weights on it,

Do I need to remove the weights form the Dakota convertor??

‘03 should’ve been the last year for the 5.9. An ‘03 5.9 Dak & ‘01 5.9 Ram would have the same trans & converter.

Convertors are balanced do they would have weights on them, as long as you have the correct flywheel.
