Looking for some help. I have a 2007 1500 4.7 with flex fuel with about 257k. Just purchased it less then 2 weeks ago. My son was driving it and it died on him. Could not hear fuel pump kicking on. I was able to use starting fluid and it would fire up but not run. Guessing it was fuel pump. Replaced pump cranks and wont start, replaced Cam, Crankshaft sensors and all new plugs. Tried starting fluid again with no luck. Had mechanic scanner hooked up to it and had no communication. I was able to turn the key 3 times to get codes on dash no code were present. I just ordered a ecm thinking its bad.

Any suggestions

Check wire connector that feeds fuel pump under driver side firewall. Had similar problem where fuel pump would work sporadically and fount the connector was coming apart

If you push what in…the connector? In that case there’s your issue

No, it’s under truck near driver side firewall. One side runs up into engine bay, other side run back along frame rail to fuel pump.

Awesome thanks I just re-read some posts and saw this again I just had body work done on that side so I’m thinking maybe a wire issue now thanks for the help
