Looking at affordable options to get better MPG in my 2007 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi, it's the 2WD Lone Star edition, which is essentially the same as the Big Horn, but only came in red and was only sold in Texas (if that even matters). The truck says I get 11.9 MPG, and I would like to increase that as much as possible, as cheaply as possible, as I want to do some road trips. I don't care if I lose power, as long as it helps with MPG. I was thinking a Cold Air Intake would be a good option, but I was told not to get anything where the filter has oil on it. I'm not sure about that, though. Any tips would be appreciated! Also has 196k miles but runs perfectly fine.
