I appreciate the answer back, I've scoured the internet and just cant seem to find anything picture wise related to the 2014 ram 1500. Basically I search and research with different terms and still come up with the same basic results and no good pictures, the one or 2 I have found.

I am also interested in some pictures. I watched a you tube on a 2013 install but I do not see the wires they are referring to.

I installed one in my 2013. Pretty straight forward, module plugs into the two harnesses under the driver knee panel, and you replace the blank plate on the center console with the switch, there is already a harness behind it to plug into the switch. Only issue I had was the bracket that holds the module screws onto the frame of the dash, but the screws have to come in from the frame side. It was impossible for me to get the screws in so I just zip-tied it. Works great, but no you can't change the gains on the evic with the steering wheel only with the buttons on the switch. And yes you have to get the module programmed...

For the modules under the dash, I don't have pictures, but they are both taped together with some gray foam. When you remove the panel you should see them staring back at you. At least mine were...

Thank you apepe0738. I got it installed, my husband is a little too big to squeeze in that tight space. I selected the foam bundle with the 4 wires and it was the right one. I took some pictures, I'll post in a few minutes.

Where the plug ins are located, sort-of.

I am about to do it in my 2014. One major item is having the wiring for the integrated controller. Mine came with the Tow Package, so the wiring is already there, just needs the controller and computer update. Controllers are on eBay for around $183. Let you know how it turns out.

I just ordered one for my 2013 from eBay, too. My dealer wanted $500 for the parts and installation. Seems like a pretty straightforward install from the printed instructions I've seen online. I've read that some people have had luck with not needing the computer flashed after install. I hope I'm that lucky.

I just installed the factory integrated brake controller set up in my 2014 ram sport. It was a very simple installation and it only took about 30 min. The switch/gain controller mounts easily in the stock location in the dash and the module mounts in the right side of the drivers foot well. Only thing left to do is get it programmed.

I didn't install mine. Had the dealer install in my 2013 for almost nothing. I can only speak to aftermarket vs OEM. Love it. No scraped knees and it blends right in. Always set to prior adjustment. Money well spent.

I just installed the factory brake controller in my 2014 Ram 1500 and had it flashed by the dealer, but it doesn't seem to recognize that it's there. Anybody else run in to this? Is there a fuse or relay I need to install? According to my VIN lookup it has the factory tow package with harness. Thanks for the info.

I took it back to the dealer. They didn't flash it correctly the first time. Everything works awesome now.
