I have managed to put in a few dents and paint scrapes into my now 6 year old RAM 1500 I was so proud of when it was new.

Now I drove into a low conrete object and bent the heck out of the passenger stock running board.

I have looked at nearby junkyards and nobody was a set of stock ones so I am looking at replacements.

NOthing fancy needed, just replacements for the stock ones from RAM.

I am looking at two on amazon...

TAC Side Steps Fit 2009-2018 RAM 1500 Crew Cab

MaxMate Compatible with 2009-2018 Ram 1500 Crew Cab
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EP3PUV2/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=A15AULQ36C9ZYO&psc=1

Has anybody had experience with either one? Both are right at $160/pr

appreciate any insights...

Don't go with the max mates. Tried em on my wife's truck. They are built a little off. Not much room to put your foot when stepping out. Tend to almost miss on the way out. We are planning on replacing as soon as Tyger releases their new steps for the 4th gen.

YOur reference to tyger got me to the Tyger web page and am looking at their products, so thanks for the info.

Ya Tyger products are pretty solid and look good as well. I'm running their fender flares on my truck. Fraction of the cost of Bushwackers.

I had those exact steps you posted PCA, and they were garbage.

I weigh 180 pounds and they flexed when I stood on them. Then after only 3 months the mount started slapping off the side of where they were mounted. I would get under the truck and push up on them to bend them back to flat so they didn't slap on the truck...

After about 6 months I just took them off because they rattled and flexed so much.
