2014 Ram 1500 5.7 , about to change 4th fuel pump within a year. Mechanic says nothing points to a problem causing failure. Please help.

2014 Ram 1500 5.7, about to change 4th fuel pump within a year. Mechanic says nothing points to a problem causing failure. Very frustrated to say the least. Any help would be appreciated.

That would be my first ask as well, are you using OEM. Second, did you make any changes to engine or exhaust system. Do you have your vehicle tuned? Did you adjust any settings with AlphaOBD?

Other things to consider; constantly running fuel very low can overheat pump. Also, you may have contamination in your fuel system. Empty the tank and do a full visual inspection and get gas at a different station than you may usually use. Electrical issues ad mentioned above can also be a problem.

There is a fuel module computer chip in the system. Very possible this could be the problem. If going bad the fuel pump pressures are be kept at a lower fuel line pressure causing the pumps to work harder thus fuel pump burned up
