2016 ram 1500 5.7 hemi rpm hesitation. Please help.

I've been having problems with the truck producing rpm's on take off on drive and reverse. In drive it lurches forward when you press the gas far enough for it to go. In reverse on a hill you have to press the gas halfway down for it to engage. Going downhill at approx 30mph the rpm fluctuates. The truck has a unlocked computer, aftermarket injectors, and a Magnusson supercharged boosted at 6lbs. I have had a p0420 cat defiency code. Is it a blocked converter?

Thanks I told the shop to hollow out the cats and delete the rear o2 sensors. I guess that would be a good start. It has stock cats with aftermarket exhaust

Good luck with that. The feds are really starting to crack down on violators of the Clean Air Act. At this point I wouldn't discuss "modifying" emissions equipment online... it may come back to haunt you later.

Yes they do in the bigger cities but not where I live.

Is this a new symptom or has it always done this? What is the history of the truck? Did you install the blower and have it tuned?

Disconnect and see what happens if it goes away high flow or ditched cats. They say that to scream an engine has to be able to exhale hard
