have had my ram for a couple of months now.. and looking at exhaust atm... but from what I have seen the 3.6 replacement aftermarket duel exhaust doesn't seem too impressive but I see tons of BA exaust kits for the 5.7.. can I use a 5.7 kit on my 3.6? If not.. does any one know of a good duel exaust kit/ specially for the 3.6?

Find someone with a OEM factory dual exhaust that they took off to upgrade. That's what I did, and it works great. It's a direct bolt on, and the only thing extra you'll need to one hanger rubber for the drivers side.

So is there no difference in the 5th generation and 4th generation exhaust? Also what about cab size and bed length. I have a regular cab (2 door) 6 1/2' bed. Will an extended cab 5 1/2' fit?

I don't know about 5th to 4th Gen, but cab length doesn't matter. There is one extra exhaust hangar you can add to make it more secure but its not necessary. 4th Gen Exhausts pop up on Craigslist type sites frequently and the salvage yard resale price is around $150.
