I have a 2017 (very early) Promaster 1500 short and low. The transmission chatters and goes into limp mode. Dealer scanned it and said it was a clutch code and the trans is toast. I was driven less than a year and has 122,000 mi. I have been told the transmissions in these have issues. The dealer told me to pony up 6 grand for another trans. It has the fleet powertrain warranty but the Mopar rep refused to help.
So I have found a replacement transmission but nowhere does it say how much fluid and finding a filter has proven almost impossible.
I run BG in all of my other vehicles (old trans had Mopar +4 in it). Anyone had any issues with BG.
Mopar had a recall on the 2016's for pumps but because mine is an early 17, it does not qualify.
Anyone know how much fluid to put in?
