82214870AB thats the p/ n I used with existing wires with connectors. Did not need to run wires that came with kit. Really only needed lights. I did have to activate with Alpha OBD. Didn't use dealer.

Genuine MOPAR Bed Lamp Switch 68367545AA if you have a plug or to wires taped back on the harness the go to this switch so you can turn them on and off at the bed.

Got the lights wired up and running how the should. But the switch doesn't seem to do anything. Even switched the wires around and nothing.

Did you check and see if there was 12volts at the wires when the lights were on ? I had 12volts across the 2 wires that were heat shrinked back to harness.

The wires go through the BCM from what I can tell in my truck. So sends a signal to BCM to allow the lights to be controlled from the switch also. Did you activate the lights using alpha OBD.

Yeah, I used alfaobd.
I'll check the volts when the lights are on.
I checked when they were off and had no volts.

There will not be voltage when the lights are off. I only had voltage when I opened the door or manual turned the light on from dash. That confused me in beginning and didn't no if adding switch would work. Thankful mine did work. I think adding switch routes a ground back somewhere to tell BCM to send 12 volts to lights sorry don't have schematic.

Hey so finally got around to looking under the bumper area on both sides of the bed and I think I found the connectors. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow of them to see if they are what you had. Your saying you could of just bought the LED lights, plugged them into the connectors and they would of worked right out of the box?

Basically these lamps would connect into those two connections and be good to go? If that's the case that's so easy lol
