I recently purchased a 2019 RAM BIGHORN and am looking to obtain a fiberglass Tonneau Cover. I am looking at the A.R.E. LXS. Unfortunately, the A.R.E. Dealer does not have an pictures of the LXS cover on the new body 2019 BIGHORN. I have contacted A.R.E. for a solution but they have not but what is in the brochures and those are of the 2019 RAM Classic models. Has anyone purchased the LXS Tonneau cover for a 2019 RAM BIGHORN and can you post close-up profile pictures of the cover? I would also like your opinion on all aspects of the cover.

Musky Mike,
Thanks for the pictures! I am having issues with the way they placed the hump on the top of the cover. I know it is to mimic the hood but it reminds me of a turtle. How does it look when viewing the entire truck? It also looks like the LSII. How is the fit? I hope you enjoy it!

It is a LSII, it looks fine...but I think a flat one would look better. The cap already sits above the top of the bed and raised portion makes it even higher. I personally think it doesn’t flow well because it’s so much higher than the front of truck. If I was to do again, I would get a model that is flat across or the hard trifold. The fit is really good and over quality looks good. I think you will be happy with an A.R.E.

I finally settled on a cap for my 2019 Bighorn> I went with the Undercover Elite LX. I just got it today and I wanted to update you and any other members that may be looking for a cap. I am including picture for a Ranch cover (silver) as well as my Undercover Elite LX(Delmonico Red). Also, I want to thank you for your input.

MUSTY & USAF: Cover looks great. I am just awaiting hopefully a check from FCA ref ED before I do. Dealer wants $1600 for Mopar installed, we shall see...

Is the silver Ranch a 2019?

USAFCHIEF: I am also looking into possibly pulling the trigger on the Undercover Elite LX. Looks like you are going on 6 months or so with that cover. Impressions? What you like or what you don't? Also - I always get concerned with shipping on these large items. Was it packed well? Any issues with out of the box paint finish from Undercover? Thanks for any input.

I found the Undercover Elite LX to be of high quality in craftmanship and finish! I purchased mine from an authorized dealer and it arrived without issue and they installed it on my truck. The only thing you need to watch when installing is that the mounting brackets are exactly place the same distance from the front of the bed on each side. Even an 1/8" difference will throw off the alignment at the rear of the truck. As far as anything I don't like about it is the key lock cover alignment. It sticks up above the top of the cover vs being placed to the side and it is visible when viewed in the rear view mirror. I know "picky" but you asked.

If you are interested in getting a quote on this cover, I'd love to help you out. We offer Free Shipping. Also I see that you are in FL, and depending where at, we can also help with install as we just opened a shop in Jacksonville
