I cant justify getting rid of perfectly good tires just yet. I would like to wear these down a bit on my 2019 big horn classic ccsb.

Nice looking truck!

Great choice on the Ram 1500 Classic! I like the 5th generation Rams, but like the looks of the 4th generation better!

Anyone know average wait time on an order? Don't feel like waiting MONTHS.
I can handle the 6-8 weeks but not much longer as I need the truck for work.

Allpar just posted that FCA announced that they will continue to produce the Ram Classic due to popular demand. Money talks it appears, don't turn away profits. :!

I just turned 1000 miles on my classic. I've had her for 2.5 weeks. Loving everything so far! Came with the steps, spray-in liner, and remote start. So far I've added Husky Liners, Weatherguard tool box, and just got the front windows tinted about 3 hours ago. I have a Deezee tailgate lift assist and AMP bed extender to install this weekend and a Rhino Dominator hitch step on the way. Here's a picture from the factory and a few of the additions.

Has anyone seen any sales numbers - Classic vs "all new"?
Local dealer here says all new is out selling classic by far. Just curious if that is the case all over. The above announcement kind caught me by surprise.

I was wondering this. I've seen probably 80 5th gens driving around and just today at lunch saw my 2nd classic. Granted its harder to distinguish the classic from an 09-18 being you have to look at the badging. So I've probably seen some I didn't notice.

I have 2 buddies that just bought 5th gens. One Rebel (chevy guy) and one cheaper model (ford guy)

The weird thing to me is the pricing. My buddy that just bought the cheaper 5th gen didn't know the difference between the two and sent me two photos asking why one ram had a badge on the hood (5th gen) and one didn't. I was like those are two different gens. But the odd part was they were basically the same price. So I can see why the 5th gen would sell far better.

Which was odd to me being that part of keeping the 4th gen around was to be able to sell cheaper I thought.

When I bought mine, the Classics on my local lot were 3 to 4k cheaper due to incentives, both local and FCA, than comparably equipped 5th Gen's. I thought one of the reasons they kept 4th gen around was for a lower cost alternative as well. Maybe if they are selling better than anticipated, they reduced the incentives. That is why I asked the question. But I really wouldn't know where to find out the sales numbers - 4th Gen vs 5th Gen new.

I don't know the numbers either... Allpar will post them as soon as FCA does for sure. I know here 5th gens are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive.

I too just bought a classic about three weeks ago.

I ended up with the classic due to the rebates (almost 8k off sticker) on them and after taking the fifth gen for a ride decided I liked the fourth gen better.

This is my second fourth gen.
