So, I’m leaving Dallas the other morning heading east on I 20. 16° outside and a winter mix starts falling. Before long, I’m leaning on the console looking out my front windshield because both corners of the windshield has iced over.
Temp set on 85, fan on high, front defrost on. Picture is what I would see if I sat up in my seat.
I would think this would be a big safety issue. But, as I’m saying bad things about Ram, a Ford F150 passes me with the same problem. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this happen.

So the accumulation was on the outside of the windshield? Did your defrosters ever get the job done? I lived in MN for 35 years, and this would happen now and then until the car/truck got really warmed up. Hiway speeds can exacerbate the issue too. If it's light, heavy use of WW fluid can help.
