- 98 CTD 12 Valve- Half the valves, twice the fun
Ok gents, I have a quick question. For the story, heres the background on the truck
98 Ram 2500 12v CTD, Auto, 2WD
Ok heres my question. Are the bearings on the front wheels seperate bearings, or are they unified hub bearings like the 1500's? I need to pull the front end apart to replace the good old ball joints on the passenger side, and I figure if they are standard tapered roller bearings, I would go ahead and repack them with some good grease and new seals (like I used to do on the 71 ford F100 every year)
Also, any specific tips on the front end that I need to know? Ive done bearings on almost everything, but havent torn into a 2500 yet.
