Hey guy tossing the idea around of lifting my truck a little bit i have a 2010 2wd crew cab. I just want a little bit more stance I was thinking 2in coil spacers up front 1in out back. Is there any coil spacers better than others or are they all pretty much equal? Is there any issues with useing coil spacers? Other than it's a 2wd and I should just get a 4wd. (trucks paid for not looking for a payment) thanks in advance.

Also thinking 305 55 on factory 20s.

You can easily do coil spacers, however there are some drawbacks to using spacers on a 2wd. The ride will be a little more bouncy with stock shocks and you may max out your front shocks travel more often. The best thing to use is spindles.

I have 2.5" spacer up front and ride is Way too bouncy. Need to upgrade shocks. I'm also thinking about swapping my 2.5" spacer for the maxtrac 2.5" lift coils

Thanks for the input so far worst case I can put new shocks on. I'm still torn between 305,55 r20 275, 65 r20 and factory sized bfg K0s or just be cheep and trow on some factory cooper discovery H/T's such tuff decisions.

Any spacer over 2in is a major PITA. Believe me,I stuffed a 3in spacer up front just to hate the ride quality, had to get longer front shocks, and decided I hated the setup after 3 weeks. In the end I went with maxtrac spindles and stuffed some 35s on her.

I am considering getting longer front shocks once I install my 2.5" front spacer. Why did you hate the setup? What shocks did you use ?
