With the 2.5 or the 3" leveling do I have to change the shocks/struts or will the stock ones be fine. How about the stock pitman arm is that fine with just 2.5'-3" of lift in the front. I have lifted plenty of dodges but this is my first IFS truck.

I changed my shocks and I had to shave the inside of my UCA since it would hit the coil bucket . once I did that and aligned it its fine . Does hit big pot holes hard but other than that no noise no problems and looks great .

Ok so it has been a few months and still love it. No issue with tire wear or alignment. Still feels like factory ride. Would deff recommend 3" level.

I just installed a 3" spacers on the from to level my 2011 ram. Turned out great, perfectly level with 39 1/2" from ground to wheel well front and rear! Looking at tires now. Prob stick with 33's so I don't destroy my gas mileage. Just go with a more aggressive 33. Let me know what u think!!

Like i said am new at this if the stock are 33 then probably i just get a more agresive look in the tires idk if all terrain or MT what do you all recommend?

And yea 3.5 leveling thats what the shop said idk if they just want to sale or what but they said it was a leveling kit is there such thing as that and if so is it a good idea?

3.5" is a big level. You will loose almost all of the downward travel in the front. 2.5 should be sufficient. You can still run up to 35.5 tire with a 2.5 level depending on the width. Sounds like a 10mm spacer will open up you tire options.

I would not go 3.5" that's too much. Extra stress and angle for no reason. 3" should be plenty for ya. I actually stuck with a stock size tire and changed my rims to the newer factory sport rim.

will this cause any issues while towing?

how do you tell if you want/need a leveling kit?

im assuming my 09 trx is already level, but id like it a little taller then it sits

would this do the job if i went this route?

What I put in was just the front cups to raise it so the gap between the front and rear wheel wells are equal. I have 39 1/2" from the ground to top of the wheel well all around. My initial goal was to create more space to put taller tires without rubbing. If your going to toe anything with a lot of weight I would recommend an air ride system for the rear.
