Do you turn the key to the on position first, let the fuel pump prime till it shuts off, then go to the crank position? I always do, never a problem like thst

I've had batteries do that. Turns over fine but it would crank longer than normal. Got worse and I finally replaced it even though it seemed fine and the problem never came back. That happened on the stock battery

this also! I had this issue in the past also. if the battery has some age on it, if your battery is the original, pull it and have it load tested

I checked the terminals for corrosion, and it looks brand new. It is the original battery.

If it is a ‘14 model as it looks, you should get the battery load tested. It has been around long enough to be a possible problem Auto parts stores can test it for you, usually free. Make sure you disconnect it from the truck before testing or the test is no good.

Checked the battery 12. 4 volts. Checked while starting, didn't drop below 10.9 volts and of course fired up without issues. I'll check again in the a.m. when it's been cold all night

Check several times and battery is holding a charge properly, it has become very hit-or-miss
