Bought a 2023 Laramie and now notice other 6.4 Hemi trucks have a fender badge showing the type of engine. Some of my friends have asked if it has the hemi or the Cummins, which is always identified by the C badge. Have these been removed for later model 6.4's? My friends 2021 has it. Or maybe it was part of the supply line problem plaguing the country. I have a white truck and rather like the colors (red)of the badge on that background. And it would stop the questions of what is under the hood.

I noticed it too this year. I think Ram is just trying to save a dime.

I noticed this as well. With the Mirror change in ‘23, they removed the 6.4 HEMI badge on the front fenders. They still include a Cummins badge but no longer give the 6.4 badge.

It's not an issue with me knowing that they did not just miss putting them on the truck. Aftermarket has them at $65 or more each and I won't be installing those at that price. Some were $100 plus shipping each.

Why would anyone pay to advertise for a company? It's like the people who pay $15 for a T-shirt that says "Adidas". If Adidas wants me to advertise for them, they can give me the shirt. I'll wear it as much as any other shirt I have.

Maybe because it's a status symbol? Afterall...IT'S GOT A HEMI! Really though I kinda liked the red and chrome against the white truck. In hindsight and after washing/waxing the truck it's got enough stuff to get around as it is.

In my town, many businesses are now owned by Middle Easterners.
If your vehicle does not have any markings, they don't know what the vehicle is.

I went to a Glass shop that has been in my town for decades, apparently a Middle Easterner bought the woman owner out.
The guy wanted to jury rig my missing mirrors & he asked me what brand of truck it was. He could not tell by looking at the shape of the grille.
I thanked him & left.

That led me to look online & to find out that the Dodge Parts Dept. does not always know what they have on the shelves.
......................................................................

Dealerships were always telling everyone that if anything broke on a Dodge Ram mirror, that we had to purchase the whole mirror, that there were no replacement parts.

That i when i began to investigate, notice the date that i posted it.

First thing I did was remove all badges
Exactly!
I completely debadged my entire truck the second day after purchase.
A piece of fishing line, Goo-Gone, microfiber cloth, some beers, some time, and all good to go!
I personally prefer the clean look, and have had several compliments over the years for it, too.
