65 RFE P0740 Code testing and temporary fix.

Well **** me. Didn't need this expense before X-Mas

I had the 8 speed swap penciled in for this summer... I guess the 65 RFE got tired of the 12y of pure abuse...

Now to try and hunt down a 8 speed. As im not wasting another dime on a 65RFE.

Will also try to duplicate his temporary fix as well if its indeed the TQ thats failing.

@Wild_one pleases keep your eyes open for an 8 speed. All the ones ive found so far have to many KMs

The only used transmissions i shy away from,are ones out of rolled vehicles,especially if said vehicle was running when it fell on it's roof
