8.4 Upgrade

Bought a used 2018 UAQ from eBay + bezel and module for my 2018 Express. Existing jump seat USB doesn’t work so I’ll have to get the dual USB soon. Didn’t need a 911/phone override plug/adapter. Awesome upgrade.

Got confused trying to find everything esp for the 2018 so I just got the bezel upgrade kit from infotainment. $600 but everything was plug + play

What does the kit include? I have the front piece from the center to accept the 8.4 screen what other parts do you need?

If you have the bezel, you're good for the radio. Unless you go from the 4sp to 7 sp fan, then you'll need the harness. You'll need the media hub from a 2018 ram or Jeep compass plus the harness adapter.

Kit has the bezel, hvac module, and harness. Not sure if the module + harness are different between 17 and 18. On their site, you have to select it.

And like akordboy mentioned, the media hub. My 18 has the dual looking hub but it’s not the right one for my 18 UAQ.

It’s a Frankenstein stereo haha
