Ok, so I am at my wits end on this. I have tried lubing it, tried a pickle fork on the drag link end and pitman arm tool on the gearbox end, grunting, groaning, and everything I can think of and it won't budge on either end. Is there a step I am missing? Seems pretty straightforward to replace it. Would heating it up help or do I risk melting a seal in the gearbox?

Getting pretty desperate here...

I wouldn't heat it up but that just my personal preference. Someone got it on there before so it will come off somehow.

Amazing what a little heat in the right place will accomplish... :)

BTW, don't **** around with those BS $15 pullers. Go to Autozone, pay the $94 and get the puller that bolts down on the sides. You get the money back and the thing WORKS!

I just beat the one I changed like it stole something for about 10 minutes. Then used a pickle fork. It came off pretty easy after that.

It seems like I always cry for help about two grunts too early...
