Hey guys,

Maybe its all in my head, but I feel like there is a little lag in acceleration on my truck.

I have no lights on or anything that says there is a problem.

Truck has 130k miles on it, always changed oil since I purchased with about 60k miles on it.

Has CAI, 85mm TB, tune, headers etc.

Should I change the plugs? Check TB to be cleaned? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I get a little lag accelerating when it's loaded with tools in the back. I'm not taking about picking up the speed, but little lag from when I press the gas pedal and when it begins to move. When empty there's no lag. 70k on my 2013

Plugs likely way over due, for a 2010 you should be doing plugs every 30k, yeah crazy but it is what it is. Get mopar hemi plugs for your year, 16 of them, and a spark plug tool that grabs the plug with rubber seal or magnet. You likely need coil packs as well. Maybe use anti seize to keep moisture out, maybe make the plugs last longer, use di electric grease on the cap, make sure not to get on top of plug.

I have a 2010, I use Costco 91 and it feels like a different truck.

If you were going to change out coil packs would it not be better to upgrade to the newer type & run the 100k plugs?
Seen a thread on this somewhere.

If you are just doing plugs, you need the correct mopar plug for that year. If you need coil packs, there is a way to test them look it up, then find that thread that will upgrade the coil pack to match 100k plugs.

I agree with the plugs and wires. Coil packs are either good or bad but if they are originals, I'd do them too.

Clean your throttle body if you haven't done so in a while, take a look at the EGR valve and either clean or replace it, also replace the PCV valve if that hasn't been done in a while.

I would stick with OE plugs and wouldn't change coils unless it was throwing a code. That's just me though.
