I wouldn't use them they are made from aluminum and copper it will cause corrosion on the wheel studs since they are steel.

Aluminum and Iron/Steel are right next to each other on the galvanic series of dissimilar metals. You should not experience any corrosion as a result.

As far as quality, Rays are top notch. I have ran a lot of their wheels and lugs on previous cars. Just like any aluminum or colored lug, Do not use an impact on them!

Wrong those lug nuts consists or copper which cause electrolysis between steel. Also this is a good read and water will make it worse galvanic still a issue

https://www.thefabricator.com/artic...hop-welding-steel-to-aluminum-is-it-feasible-

You have a valid point however the anodizing treatment is used to mitigate that. Mitigate is the key here, nothing lasts forever.

I personally would not run aluminum lug nuts for an everyday use vehicle for a variety of reasons; including galling or stripping when servicing, improper torquing during install, etc.

Those lug covers look like they'd be a huge pita when you swap wheels.

Wowza!.. That price is steep... So says me who spent almost $300 on MGP caliper covers.

Anyway, the link below is for lug nut covers that give the same effect as those Rays Dura-Nuts. Might be of interest.

I have orange caliper cover too with a ram head on them, I think they will look sweet with the black wheels and orange lug nuts. Ill have to try those colorlugs if I don't like the aluminum lug nuts. Weather has been crap anyway so it'll be in the spring when I do this.

I don't know if it will work with truck lug nuts but I used cut up shot gun shells for covers on my VW. You couldn't see the color of the shells but maybe with a truck rim you could? Orange shells maybe.

Finally got them installed, they took the 130 ft/lbs, I wish the wheels were 17’s but I’m happy with the look, I love these Toyo’s same ones I run on my 07 Cummins

Look good. I’ve always like that color on the single cab trucks
