Anyone familiar with HPtuners?

2006 ram procharger with cam. Ive had initial tune running. Tuner is asking for Wideband at WOT. I’ve tried adding my AEM 30-0300 via HPtuners but as soon as I start recording the data it disappears. I’ve read to unplug/plug usb as it may help. Haven’t tried it yet. I’ve also read that the aem 30-0333 unit sandwiches between obd2 port and hp tuners port. But it says for vehicles 2008+ With CAnbus? Does the 2006 ram utilize CANbus? I’d Rather not spend the extra $150+ but if I have no choice I will. I have my current AEM connected to ignition switch. Does it have to be connected to the obd2 to get feed to HPtuners? Sorry for long rant. I’ve been trying to get this tuned for the longest time and always seem to find nothing for 06 rams.

Hp tuners should have an extra cable to connect the wideband directly to the obd2 dongle. May need to purchase. I would contact hp tuners directly.

06's are the first year for CAN in the trucks and I've heard they can be a bit odd at times.
