Backup Cam Dim at Night

Greetings,

When backing up at night in a dimly area I cant really make out anything other than the guidance lines. Day time and areas with street lamps are fine. Any suggestions?

I have the 8.4. The display picture quality is fine during the day or at night with sufficient overhead lighting like street lamps. But when I visit a couple friends that live in a rural area with no street lamps the display is pretty dark.

Yes, reverse lights are working. I just swapped stock out for Anzo's and I havent been out in a dark area yet. I'll see if that makes a difference and if not I'll get some pics.

the amount of light doesn't sound like the issue. your camera should adjust the aperture inflow light conditions, (at loss irresolution)

In a completely dark environment with just my stock back up lights I can see the surroundings at least as far as the active gridlines.
Your camera should have a much better night vision .

LED reverse lights help, but these cameras aren't great in low light.
